12. Groups & Data Usage

Greigster processes group-related data to provide social and collaborative features on the platform.

When you participate in groups, we may collect and store:

  • Resources uploaded or shared within groups.
  • Timestamps and basic activity metadata.

Visibility & Access

  • Public group content is visible to all Greigster users.
  • Private group content is visible only to approved members of that group.
  • Greigster administrators may access group content only where necessary for moderation, platform safety, legal compliance, or support.

  • Group content is retained for as long as the group exists or as required for legal or operational purposes.
  • If a group is deleted, associated content may be permanently removed, subject to backup and legal obligations.

User Control

  • Group Admins can manage membership, posts, and resources within their group.
  • Users may leave groups at any time, subject to admin or platform restrictions.
  • Requests to delete personal data can be made in accordance with Greigster’s standard data rights process.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect group data but cannot guarantee absolute security of user-generated content.
